Samsung: Galaxy Note 8

Samsung Galawy Note 8

Dave Graveline is bringing us the latest from Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Here he is playing with the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 just released the day before the show opened.
0.1 inches bigger than the iPad "Mehni" with an 8" screen. It's also a (huge) phone.

The Galaxy Note 8 has a 1.6GHz quad-core A9 chip and 2GB of RAM. Built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS are packed in to this device as well as a gyroscope, accelerometer, and a digital compass. The phone/tablet will come in 16GB and 32GB models.

Nokia Lumia 720 and Lumia 520


Nokia took the stage and announced 2 new entry level Windows 7 phones, including the Lumia 720 that will launch in March, which features a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8227 processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a microSD card slot for additional storage.


All underneath a 4.3-inch ClearBlack display with a WVGA resolution, a 6.7-megapixel camera, a front-facing camera for video chat using “Skype HD Wide Angle” with a 1.3-megapixel resolution, a 2,000mAh battery and more. It will launch in multiple colors , including red, yellow, black & white.

Sony Experia Tablet Z


The rumoured tablet, is finally here. The thinnest water resistant, 10" tablet from sony is causing quite the hype here @ Mobile World Congress.

The Xperia Z will be available in both black and white and will rock a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU. It will launch with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean but Sony is already promising that an update to 4.2 will be available shortly after launch.

LTE and Wifi models will be available, but no word on pricing as of yet.
